EMail Leads in Network Marketing
Come and get 'em. Here are
your email leads in network marketing! Hot off the press.
Brand new. Just for you!! Cheap, cheap, cheap ... but only
if you buy in the next five seconds.
Good grief. How many times have
you seen these ads? And, yes, it is just like a carnival hawker.
If you feel like you are being scammed, you are.
| These "leads" have nothing
whatsoever to do with network marketing, nor with your business.
|
These email leads come from all sorts
of websites that capture emails, some giving away something for free,
some promising the moon. Some come from people who are literally
hired to go harvest emails from the internet, scouring websites and
forums where emails might be posted.
Then, once thousands and thousands of
these emails are harvested, they are sold and re-sold and re-sold many,
many times over.
None of these sources does you any good
whatsoever. Emails from sites about Tucson really aren't going to
help you monetize your petunia site.
There are, however, two types of email
leads in network marketing that will do you a great deal of good.
The first is the email list that you
create yourself with your own ezine. You would, incidentally, be a
fool to dilute your email list by selling it. Once you have sold
it, it is out there for hundreds of carnival hawkers to sell and re-sell
and re-sell again. If advertisers want access to your list, invite
them to place an ad in some issues. You then keep your list
confidential, and it becomes much more valuable to you. The longer
you have your list, and the more names on it, the more valuable it
becomes.
The second kind of email list in
network marketing that is important to you is the list that other
newsletters have. Not because you will buy those lists. But
because you might be able to write an article for those newsletters.
You won't get paid for writing the article, but you will get access to
that email list by virtue of being printed in the newsletter.
There is a third option, but you
probably won't need it. You could place your own ad in someone
else's newsletter, thus capturing the benefit of their email list.
I say you probably won't need it because with truly optimized pages, you
will be able to generate significant traffic to your site without
advertising. But the option to advertise is there if you want it.
The Get Rich Quick-ers will promote the
email leads in network marketing for you to buy. Just don't
listen.
