Network
Marketing Basics - Your Recipe for Success
Learning Network Marketing basics is rather like
learning to read a recipe. There's a cup, a teaspoon, a pinch, a
stir. Then the very best chefs add that something
special.
Start With Two Cups of
Passion
Make that two big cups. This is the driving
force behind your business, no matter what your business is. Even
if your passion is nothing more than to "make money", and you want to
make money very, very deeply, then that becomes your passion.
There is a story in one of the "success" books
about a family that wanted a house more than anything in the
world. This was not a rich family, so they knew they would have to
really focus on their goal. So they gave up new clothes.
They gave up movies. They gave up eating in restaurants.
They moved into a cheap trailer. All so they could save money for
their house.
The kids in this family went to poor schools
because they lived in a cheap neighborhood of trailer parks. The
family had constant fights due to living in such close proximity with
each other. But they wanted that house.
And they got it.
I'm not suggesting that you give up everything you
know as "life" to follow your passions. But I am suggesting that
you choose your passion wisely.
Whether we're talking about Network Marketing
basics, or setting the goals for your life, your passions determine your
path.
Add a Cup and a Half of
Research
Here's where you take that passion and turn it
upside down and inside out.
First research key words and key concepts.
Google and Word Tracker are popular services for doing such
research. Find out which keywords work, and which ones
don't. Make sure you've got enough keywords to create whole
website.
"Niche" is a popular term in website development
these days. Basically it means finding a specific topic that has
lots of people looking for information, but not very many sites already
existing. It's a corner of the market that you can claim as your
own.
"A corner of the market" doesn't sound like very
much. But when you're talking about billions and billions of
dollars changing hands on the internet, a corner looks pretty
appetizing.
Then Two Tablespoons
....
One tablespoon for organization. Set out your
site blueprint, and make sure it all fits together.
And one tablespoon to confirm that there are ways
you can monetize this topic, whether through AdSense ads, ebooks,
products, services, affiliates, MLM association, eBay products, Amazon
books, or hundreds of other ways. Just make sure it is
there. If you can't make money, you don't have a
business.
Add A Dash of
"Voice"
This is the most elusive of the Network Marketing
basics. Essentially it means that 100 people can write about hats,
but yours is different than all the others.
Your "voice" will ring through as you. It is
kind of like "writing with an attitude". Let your attitude shine
through.
And The Creative
Touch
Every site has something that makes it
unique. Perhaps the colors of the logo are unique. Perhaps
your personal experience is unique. Perhaps your exquisite use of
videos is unique.
Then Mix It All Up and Bake
Yourself A Site
This is the easy part. Building pages is a
breeze when the rest of the site is put together right.
And promote your site too. Use existing
article directories, newsletters, forums, and link exchanges to create
your presence on the internet.
The Frosting On
Top
... is of course the actual monetization. But
the monetization just doesn't happen without all the stuff that happens
up front.
Settle in and study Network Marketing basics a
bit. You'll be very glad you did. The time you are spending
now will be paid back to you a hundred fold when you actually build your
site.
Bon appetit!
