Network Marketing Information
There is lots of Network Marketing
information available, but prospective network marketers aren't getting
the right information.
| Over 75% of
new network marketers opt out of their program within three
months. Why? |
The most common reason given for disenchantment with network
marketing is the difficulty in earning money from it compared to the
cost of required purchases to maintain membership. Most admitted to
having been influenced entirely by the presentation and promises of an
individual attempting to recruit them or by well written sales pages on
the internet.
Very few did significant research into the opportunity
they were considering as well as possible alternatives.
Here's where you can set yourself apart
as an informed network marketer, one who knows the network marketing
information questions to ask.
If you are seriously considering an online business in any area
of network marketing, be it multi level marketing (MLM), or affiliate
marketing, it is absolutely essential to take the time to research
network marketing information. This will allow you to discover not only
the best business opportunities but also which companies and types of
programs you need to avoid.
Every network marketing company is aiming to
impress. It is up to you to look beneath the promises into the reality
of their track record.
- How long have they been in business?
- What is
their reputation in terms of how they treat their distributors?
- What is
their reputation with regards to customer service?
- How reliable are
their products?
If your research indicates genuine problems in any of
these areas, walk away. Simply walk away. These terms are
non-negotiable with the MLM companies. So walk away.
So How Do You Find
the Good Guys? ... and Ferret Out the Un-Good?
Ask for opinions
on specific companies on forums and message boards you may be able to
get some honest advice.
Sometimes, a simple search using words such as
“company name + scam” or “company name + fraud” can be enough to filter
out companies presenting the greatest risk.
You can also contact the
Better Business Bureau to ensure that the company and its promises are
credible.
Gathering Your
"Multiple Streams of Income"
To limit yourself to only one network marketing opportunity
can be a problem irrespective of the credibility of the company.
Suppose, for example, that the company
goes out of business, or is bought out by another company. You
don't like the new policies.
What do you do?
If you represent only one company, with
one stream of income, your whole livelihood is gone. Only by
protecting yourself with multiple streams of income can you continue to
build your personal business.
Many MLM companies forbid involvement in other MLM companies.
If you choose to work with one of them, you can
combine an MLM company with affiliate marketing, ebook marketing, eBay
marketing and even AdSense Ads.
To be truly successful in network
marketing you need to create multiple streams of income. This makes it
"your" company. Not theirs.
Only by developing multiple streams of
income can you really have your own business.
I Need a Website?
Yikes!
If you are focusing on online opportunities you will need your
own website and perhaps a blog to promote your products.
You think that's a daunting task?
Well, you could opt out of the website and instead go chasing down
friends and foes.
Seriously, that is the choice if you
want the benefits of MLM network marketing.
Therefore, an
important part of the network marketing information you will need is how
to
- build your website, and
- attract targeted traffic to your website or blog.
You will need to
gain knowledge and skills in
- Search engine optimization (SEO),
- Article
marketing,
- Best use of press releases,
- Using forums and social network
sites for free traffic generation
- Community building
- Create your subscriber list
All of this sounds a lot more
complicated than it is. With a whole community of people around to
help out -- and perhaps a personal coach as well -- you'll learn in no
time.
Unfortunately, there is a plethora of network marketing information
to wade through on the internet and it can take a lot of time. If you
can locate a reliable source of network marketing training that can
guide you in all facets of the business, it can save you a lot of time,
money and potentially costly mistakes.
So Where Do I Start
with Network Marketing Information?

You will be successful.
