Finding a
Solid Network Marketing Strategy is Key to Your Success
Only a fool starts this business without a network
marketing strategy laid out. And there are a lot of fools in the
world.
Since it is often a stay at home gig, people seem
to think that network marketing is easy work. Well, it's not always
easy. It is very do-able, but it's not always easy.
Out With the Old Network
Marketing Strategy ...
There once was a time when recruiting people for
sales and network marketing-oriented programs was trying to track down
anyone within three feet of you. It was a silly old saying, but what it
implied was that everyone is eligible. Friends, neighbors, former
co-workers, your niece and nephew.
The "strategy" was nothing more than cornering
everyone you could in a meeting, or otherwise entice them to join your
down line.
As far as strategies go, it was a pretty decent way
to lose friends and influence no one.
... and In With The
New
The emergence of the internet has absolutely
revolutionized the way marketers market. Using this technology to
build your Network Marketing business is the most logical, most
profitable path you can take.
Under the old way, you might talk with one or two
prospects a day. Under the New Way, you can reach hundreds, or
even thousands of potential affiliates
Under the old way, you chased down prospects.
Under the New Way, they find you.
Under the old way, you were restricted to
representing only one company. Under the New Way, you can surround
yourself with many streams of income, all at the same time.
Obviously, the more people that you talk to about
what you are trying to do, the more of a chance you are going to have of
finding quality affiliates to help expand your program. The best network
marketing strategy really is to attract visitors who are interested in
the topic niche that your program falls under. Give them a great deal of
information about the topic, including history, commentary, personal
experience. Then, having shown yourself as an expert, and having built
such a rapport with your visitor, you have an excellent chance of
turning that visitor into a customer. Sometimes they buy product,
and that's fine. And sometimes they become part of your down line,
and that's fine too.
Building Rapport and Telling a
Story
There are a number of great ways to build a rapport
with your visitor, such as
- Tell them the story of how you got interested in
a product;
- Talk about the composition of the product, and
the raw ingredients that go into it;
- Talk about others who have used the
product;
- Introduce two or three products into your
Recommended List, and let your visitor choose which is best;
- Provide lots and lots of information, and do so
in a way that will help your visitor.
Finding the Network Marketing
Strategy Best for Your Business
So let's get back to Your Strategy. What can
you do to create a successful Network Marketing business?
Two things are very important:
- The primary area that you will focus on (e.g.,
health drinks, vitamins, beauty products, etc.), and
- The many
streams of income you will draw upon.
There are a lot of techniques that you can add as
you build your Network Marketing business, like
- Ezines
- Blogs
- Mini Forums
- Contact Forms
- "Success" pages for your down line
... and lots more. Those are secondary.
First, sit down with yourself and decide where your interests really
are. You are going to be spending hundreds and hundreds of hours
on this new business. Make sure that it is something you truly
enjoy. Take a bit of time to ponder your choices. Once
you've got the "passion" part figured out, the rest will fall into
place.
In the meantime, keep away from those pushy "three
feet" network marketers. The meetings they lure you into won't
have the answers you need.
