Network
Marketing Web Site
Your network marketing web site is essential.
If you want to succeed in an online network
marketing business you will need to have your own unique network
marketing website, not a clone of the network marketing company you are
joining.
"Why?" you
ask.
(1) Because You Need to Own
Your Own Business
Why work like the dickens just to give someone else
traffic? That is exactly what you are doing when you merely link
to a site that the affiliate company has given you. It's not YOUR
business; it is THEIRS.
They control what the site looks like. They
control what products are listed.
They even control whether
or not you have a site. That's scary.
(2) Because You Need a Site
That Search Engines Can Find
If you put up a site exactly like every other
affiliates' sites, it is called "duplicate content" and search engines
won't list your site. The ONLY way to get people to your site is
to advertise. You will pay for advertising to get each and every
person who comes to your site, for years and years and years.
That's a lot of payments.
When you build your own site, you use targeted
keywords to bring people to your site. It is free traffic.
They are looking for the information that you have.
You found this site because I put up information
that you are looking for. (Welcome! It's nice to have you
stop by.)
| I don't pay a dime for advertising because I
don't have to. I have hundreds of people visit this
site every single day. How would you like to be in my
position? |
(3) Because You Need to Build
Several Streams of Income
Relying on a single product or range of products
can make it hard to earn a full time income from network marketing. To
maximize your network marketing efforts you must have multiple streams
of income that could include affiliate marketing, ebook marketing, eBay
marketing and Adsense Ads, and lots more.
"Streams of income? I
can't even get one stream of income to work!"
I
know. I couldn't either. When you only have one roll of the
dice, odds are against you. Give yourself better odds than
than. For example ...
Suppose you wanted to affiliate with a company that
has exceptional vitamins. Well, the sky is the limit. You
could ...
- Sell those vitamins, of course
- Encourage others to sell those vitamins
- Go to ClickBank and find an excellent ebook or
two to promote -or- write your own ebook to sell.
- Sell books from Amazon.com
- Include AdSense ads on your site.
- Have an eBay store for vitamin-related products,
like those little pill holders.
- Include Pay Per Play ads on your site;
- Locate other products for good health, such as a
pedometer for walking;
- ... and you might even find a second vitamin
company that sells a different set of vitamins.
Now you've got 9 Streams of Income!! And none
of them compete with each other. They are all complimentary.
One month you may make money from some of the streams, the next month
may be different. Having this many streams of income means you
have many rolls of the dice, and lots of chances to make
money.
A
clone website will not allow you to do this. This is why it is so
important that you have your own network marketing website that only you
control. You can add as many streams of income as you like and build
your business according to your own business plan.
Then imagine what your network
marketing website would look like.
It would not be a store front. It would
provide scads of great information about vitamins -- 40 ... 50 ... 100
pages or more. All about vitamins. Anyone who visits your
site will immediately recognize you as an expert, and will be ready to
take your recommendation on which vitamins to buy.
It doesn't get any better than that.
It's Really, Really Hard to Set
Up a Network Marketing Website, Isn't It?
There are a number of elements that go into
creating a strong Network Marketing website, such as:
- Ability to draw traffic;
- Ability to write strong web pages with great
information;
- Having a way to entice visitors to become part of
your community and get your ezine;
- Encouraging visitors to participate in your
website, to make it their own;
- Keeping in touch with an newsletter;
- Keeping updated with a blog;
Note: I did NOT say "knowing HTML
coding". In fact, knowing HTML coding is definitely not required
to create a strong website.
Also, you won't usually need to even set up a
storefront on your website. That is when you link to your host
company's website, and they provide the shopping cart, check out,
shipping, etc.
I use
Site Build It technology for this
website. SBI is not the first web host that I have used, but it
will be the last. I cannot even begin here to tell you about
everything that SBI does to make this website a success, but they do a
lot. My other primary website has been in the Top 1% of all
websites for nearly three years, and gets thousands of visitors every
single day. And, No! I don't pay a dime in advertising for that
one either.
