Will You Do Better With An Established
or New MLM Network Marketing Business?
Like the pretty new girl at school, the new MLM
Network Marketing Company gets all the attention. It's
pretty! It's new! It's exciting! If you get a date,
you can tell all your friends about it! And, getting the date
before others means that you have a better chance of making her your
steady girlfriend.
This is all well and good, but it ignores some real
problems. Suppose she's a redhead, and you like brunettes?
Suppose she's four feet tall, and you like tall, lanky ladies?
Suppose she's got a nasty personality? Suppose that nobody else
ends up liking her at all, so she keeps on chasing you?
But, like a bunch of star struck teenie boppers,
MLM-ers stampede to the NEW MLM Network Marketing company.
BUT IT'S A GROUND FLOOR
OPPORTUNITY!!!!!!
So what?
If it is not a great opportunity, it doesn't matter
whether it is ground floor or penthouse. A lousy deal is still a
lousy deal.
And if it is a great opportunity today, odds are
pretty good it is still going to be a great opportunity next month or
next year. There is no need to rush.
There are lots of established Network Marketing
companies that do very well and deserve our attention. A case in
point: Fuller Brush Company. They've been around about a
century now, and are still going strong, and still sending out
commission checks every month. Lots of them.
Working With an Established MLM
Program
If you are working with an established MLM network
marketing program, chances are that things are already pretty
established and your job will be making sales and building your
downline.
Your new Network Marketing company
may not yet really know what it is doing, including such basics as
getting product manufactured and shipped on
time.
With an established company there is already a set
compensation plan in place, and established companies are better suited
to sticking to that plan. This means that every month, you can
realistically expect what the contract says you can expect.
New Network Marketing companies
don't have this level of comfort. You're marching onto untried
ice.
Training too will be more established. Others
have gone through it before you, and it has likely been massaged and
finessed so that it might actually work.
There may not be any training in
your new MLM company.
When a New MLM Network
Marketing Company Hits You In The Gut
Once in a while you may get a gut feeling that a
new opportunity is a great one. Fine. Go for it. Don't
expect miracles. Expect hard work. With that hard work will
hopefully come some reward.
